I LOVE these shoes, as my second pair of sfc shoes these are perfect. The look isnt as stylish as the other shoes, but they make up for it in comfort. After over 6 months of wear the only thing i am replacing is the insoles. - Papac M, Crew Trainer

These shoes are of good quality for the price. However, after 4 months the inside heel fabric and cushion has all worn away, which I believe is leading to the discomfort I am having now. Overall, this is the best shoe I have purchased of the SFC brand so far--but I still haven't found a pair that can last me more than 4-5 months. - Joseph P, Asst. Deli Manager

I purchased these shoes in October 2009. I had recently used the Skecher brand that was provided by my employer, but after going through two pair in a year had to try something else. So far, after 4 months, these shoes have not shown any sign of falling apart, as they are made well. I do lots of floor waxing and the slip-resistance is excellent. My only problem is the overall comfort with the shoe, as that I cannot wear them after several hours and must change shoes to stop the discomfort. I still plan on buying another pair of shoes from SFC, but just another type. - Larry F

This is the first pair of shoes I ordered from S.F.C. At first they were rubbing the side of my little toe. But after they broke in they were/are very comfortable. I've recommended sfc's to some of my friends who work in places that are slick. and they have all had great things to say! - Shane S, Custodian

Fantastic slip resistant properties, however due to the knitted fabric on the side they let in water readily and leave you with wet feet. - Mark B, meatcutter

I own several pairs of these shoes. I originally was impressed with the demonstration at the Chicago restaurant show, so I decided to give them a try. I normally wear a 13, and the 13 is maybe a little snug. My next pair, I ordered a 14 and I think it is much more comfortable and my foot doesn't slosh around even with the bigger size. In fact, I think with athletic socks, this is a much better fit.
I use them at my restaurant and found the slip resistance to be excellent on wet and greasy floors. So, I decided to try them on the bow of my boat when I use soapy water cleaning it and the the boat is swaying as I move around. I've slipped in "cross trainer" rubber soled shoes, but shoes for crews provided great traction on the soapy gel coat and the white soles did not mar the surface. They have replaced my "Top Siders" whenever I think the bow is wet.
Recently, we had a terrible ice storm in Chicago. The walkway to my car was coated with ice. In fact, my drive way declines towards the street and I parked my Explorer on my driveway. The SUV slid back towards the street because the tires couldn't hold. All of my shoes offered almost no traction. It was like I was on a frictionless surface. I decided to put on my shoes for crews and it offered remarkable improvement. They did slip a little and were not nearly as stable as walking on a soapy floor, but they offered better traction to make my walking from door to car much less hazardous. - Charles N, CEO

I originally bought a pair of these when I started working at my first job at Frisch's and the first pair lasted 2+ years, I wasn't going to replace them because they were still in decent condition but when I changed places of employment I purchased another pair because the soles where wearing out from dragging my feet and constant use outside of the work environment and they were getting a little rough looking around the edges on the top. I never slipped once, even when bring in the truck with 2 wheelers in the winter. Plus your feet don't hurt when breaking them in like they can with regular store bought gym shoes. - James A, Jack of all trades
