I'm a nurse as well, and bought these while in school because they were recommended as a comfortable shoe for a good price. They've certainly held up to that, lasting 3 years (though I should have replaced them earlier, I knew we were switching to black). As a bonus, they're excellent for when the "fluid of the day" gets spilled on the floor, or housekeeping is mopping around you as you're trying to get things done. I ended up just lacing them loosely and slipping them on, so think I'm going to try one of the slip on styles this time.

I received these shoes from my brother for Christmas. He's been saying that I should get a SFC pair of shoes for fencing just because of their grip. I wanted to, but just didn't have the cash for it. Anyways I'm EXTREMELY impressed because I fence and sport fencing requires just the right amount of grip. Since my club and I practice in the School's Cafe, our shoes normally get very dusty after a little while and loose their grip, but not SFC shoes. I'm doing even more of a number on the rest of my club now that I actually get grip. I'm very satisfied with these, but the things that I would change is try to get a lighter weight shoe and get a leather shoe that's not as "poofy" but rather more form fitting.

I am a nurse, who was mandated to wear these shoes starting Jan 1, 2012, that works 13 hours every Saturday and Sunday. I need a comfortable shoe. I also have very large and extra-wide feet. After not being able to get a pair of non-skid from the company our employer was using I turned to the internet. I found SFC and they actually had a pair of white (the color I am required to wear) men's (no women's to fit) size 9.5 in EE (I thought extra wide). I was excited and happy to order them. The right shoe fits perfectly, the left is too narrow and the ridge around the edge rubs on the top of my last two toes. They are not very supportive so I had to buy an expensive pair of insoles to make them more supportive and comfortable. The look, price and slip resistance of the shoe are great. I just wish I could find a pair of extra wide non-skid shoes with better arch support.

I have ordered this style for my husband several times. He loves it!!! He never wants me to order anything else. He is on his feet all day and claims that these shoes never hurt his feet. I will definitely buy these shoes again. I just wish you made a style in a little dressier shoe that he would like as much.

I like this brand but a little more added cushioning under the balls of the feet would make this a super set of shoes (I stand and walk on concrete all day at work).

These are the first shoes I have ever ordered through the mail. They arrived fast and actually fit perfectly. These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have owned and will wear these outside of my job. I will look into buying a pair of safety toed shoes for my job in the near future.

Sailors, if you want to stay safely onboard your boat, these are a great choice. I've been sailing for more than 30 years and have been wearing these shoes for about 10 (several pairs, of course). They may not have a famous marine name (which would double the price), but they are outstanding on deck. In fact, you'll have to adjust to how much better non-skid they are when compared with other boat shoes.

My husband has a small hotdog stand and is on his feet all day, 7 days a week. He loves these shoes. I have tried other styles, but these seem to work the best for him. I've never ordered the black for him (style 8020), but I think I will order 1 black and 1 white this time. Great shoes.

I am a manager at a retail store. I work over 60 hours a week on average. I am on my feet on concrete all day. My feet have been killing me for the last year or so. I tried three different pairs of shoes with no help. I've been wearing the TWXs for the last 2 months and my feet feel great. I have recommended them to all of my employees and will definitely be buying more.
