I'm not usually one to do online reviews, but I had to with these shoes. This was my 2nd pair of shoes from SFC and they will be my last. These boots were great for about the first month, and have quickly become one of the most uncomfortable pairs of shoes I've ever worn. They are too loose with think socks and too tight with thicker socks. Shoe inserts just move around, get shredded and make the shoe even more uncomfortable. I cannot for the life of me find a nice middle ground. The eyelets all the way up the shoe make putting the shoe on and taking it off very difficult due to constantly having to unlace and re-lace the top two eyelets. The only real positive I have about these shoes are the non-slip soles. They hold up in just about every situation. Unfortunately that doesn't make up for the rest of the shoe. I hate that I spent $80 for these boots only two have to replace them two months later. I'll be going to an actual workboot warehouse and spending the money on a good, quality boot. Two stars only because of the non-slip. If it weren't for that, It'd be one star.

I've had the same pair of these boots for about twelve years now. I bought them though Pizza Hut, and worked in them every night. Though I haven't worked there in years,I still wear them almost everyday at work as a delivery driver. They are now absolutely falling apart, but they've served me well. I'm six foot-seven and weigh two-fifteen, I demand alot out of my shoes. We recently got flooded here in Antioch, and I was actually delivering during the flood. Being underwater all day finally destroyed the insides of my boots. I'm gonna buy some more of these. I'm not too thrilled with the rounded toe, but I know that it'll be a good investment.

Not even had these boots for a year and the fell apart from wearing. Treads get to clogged with food and debris to easy. I have bought other shoes from this company that have lasted longer than these boots did.

Love the shoes ! I have been wearing the same style for 8 years. One draw back is the new mfg. The shoe looks the same but the toe has become more rounded which gives this shoe a different feel ! Please change back to the old spec it was much more comfortable. We require all new hires to choose from your line only. They have 7 working shifts to get your shoes. SFC are part of the required uniform at DiSalvos. Thanks for a good product!!

Great shoe, I am a truck driver and have been wearing the model 8081 for about 8 years now. Its a 5 star for look comfort and slip resistance, A 3 star for longevity, The shoe barely lasts me a year and the slip resistance on the bottom wears out, but I am up and down on grated catwalks a lot as well as walking a lot in oily and wet asphalt parking lots. It has been the safest shoe I have worn, I highly recommend it to any truck driver. It is polishable and always looks new. For the price its still a bargain. This is the best slip resistance shoe I have ever worn.

I have bad feet. I need a High Top Shoe as i am on my feet about 7 hours or more a day. I can wear this shoe and my foot feels good at the end of the day as it gives me the support on the bottom of my feet and my ankle also/ I also can wear this shoe as an everyday shoe. I have been wearing this shoe for about 5 years and I just go through about 1 every 15 months or so, So it saves me money compared to the cheap "Wally World" type of brands.

Good quality boots. Very good water resistance on rainy days. The older treads did last longer on these, but still a good boot for the price. I'd almost give them a five overall except for the newer tread design. I've owned four of these previous now.

Bought these in mar08 very comfortable for about 40-60 days then started to wear down. 4 months later they need to be replaced. Now in my line of work, shoes are a serious matter. most store bought shoes don't make it a month. I deliver to very slick restaurant floors and hotels and I'm on my shoes walking about 10 hrs a day.

I bought my first pair of Legionnaires over 6 years ago. These are by far the most comfortable, longest lasting, and versatile boots I have ever owned. Slip resistant? More like slip proof! I could walk with confidence in the kitchen no matter how late in the shift and how dirty OR greasy the floor was. Extremely comfortable, you won't want to take them off ever and they clean great as well, so you won't have to! Hit them with the hose and they clean up well enough to wear in any dining room. Even after 3 years of daily use in the kitchen, they were in good enough shape to simply hit with some polish and wear out in the FOH. And for a taller boot, they are suprisingly cool during the summer months. I really can't say enough good stuff about these boots!!

My sister works in a deli and has weak ankles so she needs slip resistant shoes that support her ankles. She has been buying her shoes from Walmart for many years. I couldn't talk her into buying SFC for herself, so I gave them to her at Christmas. Now she's buying her own and says that SFC lasts so much longer than the less expensive brand that she's actually saving money AND they are 10 times more comfortable. She hasn't had a back ache since she started wearing SFC, they support her ankles, her feet don't hurt, and she says she feels much safer in the kitchen now.

These boots are the best that i have ever come across. i bought my first pair 5 years ago and still wear them every day for work since then. i have to buy a new pair now but for how long these have lasted this was the best boot i ever put on my feet and its really great to not slip and slide all over wet tile floor. i hope my next pair last 5 years. these are a must buy

Very good slip resistance! Look nice, can wear them anywhere. The first thing you notice about these boots is you don't have to break them in like normal shoes!! They feel great the very first time you put them on!! My only compliant is the insoles on these shoes ware out fast in just a couple of months. When they first made these they used to last a very long time. Now every couple of months the insole wears out fast and they start really hurting your feet!

This shoe needs to be in half sizes, I am a 11&1/2 and a 12 is just too big so I got an 11. It is too tight and did not give at all. I can not wear them everyday and when I do wear them my feet hurt. Most shoes stretch over time but mine did not. My low rating is more due too the lack of the size I needed not being available and less about the shoe. So be warned ORDER THE RIGHT SIZE. On a better note the slip-resistance and durability was way above great.

this my first pair of these boots. I have owned many different pairs of boots over the years, so many that i have actually earned the nickname "the boot". these are the most comfortable boot i have owned.

I have been buying this boot for 5 years and find that it is the most durable of all I've had. Wide-with along with additional padded insoles make this a comfortable work boot. I am on a concrete sales floor for twelve hours a day and find these shoes more comfortable than sneakers. Perfect for backrooms and coolers.
