Water-resistant shoes are designed to let less water in than traditional materials, but they're not as impermeable as water-repellant or waterproof products. They may be made of more tightly woven materials or a different composition than traditional footwear, but they wouldn't prevent penetration during submersion. Many people prefer water-resistant shoes to waterproof or repellant options because they breathe better.
Non-metallic composite safety toe
Composite safety toe footwear meets ASTM F-2413-11 standards bearing a class 75 rating.
Electrical Hazard (EH) Rated
Electrical Hazard Protection (EH) rated footwear meets ASTM standards by providing Electrical Shock Resistance protection for the entire work boot. The insulating properties are measured under dry conditions and may deteriorate with wear and in wet environments.
