It’s time to get “amped up” about restaurant safety and security. The 40th Annual Restaurant Loss Prevention & Security Association (RLPSA) Conference will be underway August 4 – 7, 2019, at the Renaissance in Nashville, Tennessee. Shoes For Crews will be in attendance, along with more than 300 safety and risk solutions providers.
Focus on Food Service Safety
The mission of the RLPSA is to find ways to minimize loss and reduce liability in order to maximize both profitability and safety. The goal of this annual event? To provide a venue for sharing knowledge and ideas and building mutually beneficial relationships, resulting in a safer and more secure environment for employees and customers. The conference gives safety and risk professionals the opportunity to laser-focus on the unique safety and security challenges of the restaurant business, build a network of professional resources and develop new solutions.
The numerous seminars, educational and networking opportunities of the RLPSA Conference will be kicked off by keynote address titled “Failure is not Final” by Scott Waddle, Former Commander of the USS Greeneville and author of The Right Thing. Commander Waddle will deliver a powerful message that failure need not be final; a lesson he learned after taking responsibility for the sinking of a Japanese fishing vessel.
