Amazing
I really do recommend this it’s like walking on a cloud very smooth. They might look heavy, but is the opposite very light and it gets the work done keeps your feet warm and comfortable at the same time. Perfect combination working as an order selector I am always walking around, I can finally get some extra work done. Thank you.

Awesome best boots outta box!!
Love them I'm buying 2 more pairs just to have in case they change or discontinue. They are the best work boots out of the box I have ever ordered. They are like walking on clouds. They move perfect with my walk not rubbing anywhere. Like most other boots do during break in. Amazing. Maybe only down fall is no wide option for those of you with wide feet. Perhaps by the time you read this they will. Don't hesitate to buy. A++++++++++++++++

Strong and reliable!
Tanks, these are some monsters and they don’t look terrible. You gotta pull your insoles every night and place them on a shoe dryer to dry them fully between uses or you run the chance of developing fungal problems that can get serious. They don’t breathe

Best sfc boot yet
I've had lots of boots in 6 years from shoes for crews. Most last a about 8 months before needing to replace. Even with putting in better insoles they always wear out. These boots however have only needed my upgraded insoles and other than that are great.
Reason for a 4 not 5. They are sweatier than others but that's not the end of the world. They do have that terribly ugly neon yellow on the back.
As with all shoes for crews boots the insoles are woefully inadequate.
I can have my ankles and platar facia act up and these have been great for it.
I recommend the gerogia boot AMP insole. The only thing I wish is that there was a bit more room in them once you add a good insole. It doesn't rub or anything on my top foot, it's just a bit more snug. They last a good 4 moths. I'm coming up on a year and I've had 3 or 4 insoles. They are only 20 bucks too.

Good boot, wont dry out
Great shoe, very comfortable. However the shoe does not dry out after wearing so I assume this boot will start to stink.

Nice Cushioning...but...
These boots are comfortable right out of the box, no break in needed. They have good cushioning and are comfortable. However, the deal breaker for me is that the boots do not breathe, my feet are wet from sweat within an hour or two, making the rest of my day hard to get through. I cannot wear these in hot weather, guess I will wait until winter to see if I can at least wear them then.

Rubber toe cap bubbled up, separated, and split.
I’m a tool and die maker by trade who averages about 11,000 steps a day. My shop produces transmission components and we use lots of synthetic draw lube which ends up everywhere on the main production floor. I will start by saying whatever this oil is made of is not kind to any work boot, you’re lucky to get 2 years out of $400 Red Wings. Combine this lube with epoxy coated floors and the result is extremely slippery, which is why I’ve been through about 7 pairs of Ace boots from SFC. Their traction, including the Arrow, is second to none.
In my nine years with this employer I’ve tried several of the other Ace boots as well and keep coming back because they’re generally very comfortable and the slip resistance is excellent. I’ve tried the providence, piston mid, burren, redrock, and a couple other styles that are discontinued. Lately I generally get about 8-10 months before they start looking torn up and my feet start getting wet from oil seeping through. The first two discontinued pairs I had lasted just over a year and were about $30 less expensive. Lately it seems they are getting less and less durable and simultaneously going up in price.
I’m not a fan of the styles with glued on synthetic or rubber toe caps, that’s usually where mine have been failing. I took a chance with the arrow because the price was more expensive than a lot of the other mid or hiker styles and my feet were starting to get wet and sore in the redrocks I had previously, which actually did make it about 10 months despite the rubber toe design. I figured the increased cost would translate to durability, but that was not the case here.
Break in was very short, maybe 3 days, and my feet were dry and no longer sore, the first month was great. But by the second month I started noticing the rubber toe caps swelling and bubbling up, separating from the inner layer of the boot. 3 months in and they started to split and now at the 4 month mark the right toe cap was just dangling off hanging there with the whole sub layer exposed.
Another thing I’m not thrilled with is that the comfort of the footbed is gone as well, sore feet from plantar fasciitis every day, some of the older models were comfortable for the life of the boot. My feet aren’t wet yet but with the inner layer exposed I’m guessing it won’t be long. If you’re hard on boots maybe stick to an older full leather style like the providence, they weren’t quite as comfortable overall but they weren’t uncomfortable, and the leather toe lasts much longer.
