I am shocked by the negative reviews! But I love Cole Haan so I took the risk (is it really even a risk at this price and SFC return policy though?) The heel height feels like a loafer to me.and there is extra cushion on the ball of the foot. Cole Haan pumps do run narrow, and I always size up 1/2 - 1 size with them. I am normally an 8 and ordered a 9. I could have probably ordered an 8 1/2, but will stick with the 9 in case my feet swell after long shifts.

narrow and small, added back heel insert, comfy!
The shoes are made narrow and small, and the back of the heel will dig in and give you blisters, but with a few minor fixes they are otherwise very comfortable. I have narrow feet and bought my usual size (8.5). They were snug, and my front toe hit the front of the shoe. I recommend sizing up a half size even if you have narrow feet. If you have medium feet, you may want to go up an entire size. I would not recommend these for wide feet at all. The back of the shoe cuts into the back of your heel. I bought gel back of heel insoles from Walgreens for $5 and they no longer dig in. Since sizing up wasn't an option available to me, I also wore them with thick socks around the house for a few hours and took a hair dryer to them to help stretch out the leather and now they fit very comfortably minus my toe that hits the front. Wish the website had a half size bigger available in stock. Pros- they are beautiful shoes, made of real leather, a comfortable height with a bit of cushion for shock absorption, and the nonslip feature from Shoes for Crews is great. Cons- run narrow and small, require a back of heel insert to prevent them from cutting into the back of your heel.

Runs small
This shoe runs about a size and half to two sizes smaller when compared to standard Cole Haan styles. The seam around the top of the shoe makes it look like a cheaper brand.

Cute but runs small size stops at 8 1/2
I really liked these and wanted these to be my go to work shoes for special events and even everyday casual wear. They run extremely small.

These are so incredibly uncomfortable. I physically cannot wear these for more than an hour without getting blisters on my feet and heel. I have had them for months and they are still not broken in.

the worst shoes i’ve ever worn. 6 inch stilettos would be more comfortable. i have blisters on the back of my feet and pinky toes. only wore for 9 hours and had to take off work because of the pain. returning immediately

Painful
I had to return these. The scrunching at the back of the shoe jams, my toes into the end of the shoe and left me with a blister on the inside of my tiny little toes. They were the most uncomfortable painful shoes to we, ever. Super cute The other are way more comfortable. Try the wedges.

Uncomfortable
This shoe, while relatively good looking for a slip resistant heel, is the most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. It’s somehow too big and too small at the same time. It slips off in the back, but the toe box is very narrow. I have worn these <5 times, and I can’t wear them any more because of how painful they are for my feet. I would not recommend these unless you have very narrow feet and/or like having your toes crunched up while you walk.
