These shoes are awesome! I first put them on my feet over 5 months ago and they are still going strong with only having to replace a broken shoestring the other day. I am horribly hard on my work shoes going from tilt steam kettles (wet zone) to a baking table (dry flour zone) and back and spraying them down all day (hence the solid toe style). These shoes take it all! The stitching and seams are perfectly intact with no signs of coming apart and the leather is still in good shape too. I bought a backup pair but have yet to use them. I'm hoping for another 6 months before these die. I've tried the rest and these are the best!

The Cambridge has to be worst pair of shoes I have ever purchased from shoes for crews.
I wore the shoes for about three weeks and during this period I began to develop a persistent pain in my ankles and the arch of my feet.
I’m on my feet a lot when working, and during this period of wearing the shoes, I realized the soles of this shoe are not sturdy enough to provide the correct support for someone who is on there feet all day.
I feel this shoe was designed for someone who sits at their desk while working.
I began too wear a different pair of your shoes, the Falcon, and my ankles and feet are beginning too feel better.

This is a good shoe. I wear them 9 - 12 hours per day, five days a week. The first six months in these are golden but after that they begin to deteriorate rapidly. If you have a heavy step the sole (which is on the thin side) will begin to wear severely and the heal does not resist well against any kind of instep or outstep. If you can budget two pairs a year then they are worth it but if you are like me and only buy one pair of work shoes a year then I would seek a different model. These are definitely not twelve monthers for those who are on their feet at least 8+ hours of their shift.

I live in Manhattan, New York City where we walk a great deal. The sidewalks surfaces, office and residential building corridors, as well as the subway walk ways, are decidedly uneven and can change one step at time. The Cambridge style shoe does not slip no matter what the surface I'm on, wet, dry, oily, etc. SFC are the only shoes I'll be wearing in this city. These shoes keep my feet planted where I put them. Sliding and falling on New York city sidewalks, for people of any age, is certainly not uncommon, and I have taken several tumbles myself. Don't anticipate this happening again while in my several different pairs of SFC shoes.

I have no complaints with this shoe. I work in a very demanding location where I walk everyday at work. I am constantly kneeling down and sometimes having people accidentally step on my feet or almost roll over them with a wheelchair. This is the second pair of this shoe that I've bought since I took on my new role as a Guest Service Manager. I need a size 15 shoe and this style has that size. I was so afraid that I would have to compromise comfort for price but this shoe has made me happy. The last pair lasted about 8 to 10 months and with routine cleaning/shoe polish they looked great to the last day.

I have worn Rockport shoes for years, because I stand on concrete floors to each all day, every day. I was searching Google for "comfortable shoes" and stumbled across ShoesForCrews website. I bought this shoe, and I am very pleased! I can really feel the arch support, and the shoe is cushioned very well. My only complaint is that it runs a tiny bit narrow in the toe box, but not so tiny that it is uncomfortable. I normally wear a 10 1/2 Wide, so I bought an 11 (Medium). If you have a really wide foot, get the EE width. I am recommending this shoe to my fellow teachers, and unless the shoe fails to meet my needs over the next year, I am sure I will buy this shoe instead of Rockports from now on.

I work as a teacher and as a manager at a restaurant, so I put in at least 70 hours a week total between both jobs. I went through 2 pairs of shoes between September and early December before I found these shoes. Very durable (although now starting to fall apart on the inside...but that's expected with the wear I put on em) and the non-slip is perfect.
The only reason I give the shoe a 4 star in comfort is I've noticed that the arches in my feet are a little more sore after doubles than they used to be. I don't remember them being sore in a different shoe, but I could be wrong. That being said, I would buy these again.

These are fantastic shoes! I put them and go to work. No break-in time and no sore feet. I love them! I only wish they lasted longer. It's as if there's a time bomb in them. Two weeks ago the right shoe developed a "bubble" on the outer sole where the upper meets the sole. This morning when I put them on the whole front toe area is flopping loose. This is my third pair and they all last 6 to 6 1/2 months and fall apart. I'd try a more expensive (and possibly better quality) style but I'm not throwing away any more money than I have to if I need to replace them every six months.
