1 year review: holding up so far!
Got these shoes around Halloween a year ago, and they're still kicking (ha) to this day, with what appears to be plenty of life left. They were a little bulkier than I imagined when I first got them, but they hide their size well and don't get in the way of much. The composite toe is more than enough for my work load in the engine building/machining business, and with some insoles (same pair of name brand work insoles have lasted me since new) they'll keep me comfy on my feet during anywhere from 8 to 12+ hour shifts. Basically no slipping when around oils, solvents, etc. There are some bumps and scratches, but just cosmetic, and nothing that actually enters the inside. It does have a "breathable" look to the design in the pictures, but don't expect them to have the best airflow. Will definitely be buying from Shoes for Crews again in the future.

epic shoes
They're just what I was looking for. Good looking Non-bulky comfortable sneakers with composite toe and slip resistant tread.

very light
Insoles needed to be changed out but that is pretty much the case with all shoes for crew shoes. The best part is that they are very lightweight for having toe protection and looks like a normal sneaker

Average Shoe
Functionality of the show is really good, only thing is the look of the shoe is a bit different than depicted online which isn't the end of the world - just wasn't my favorite design I've ordered from S4C. Comfort holds up well for being a person in the food service industry and being on my feet for long shifts.

Eh
Loved the shoes as they were comfortable and light weight but could not handle water or liquid at all. First day they were ruined because the smell wouldn't come out even when washed twice.

Fell apart after only 6 months.
I liked these shoes a lot, never had a pair of "steel" toes that I could wear every day. Liked that the toe was well constructed for kneeling. However the soles started peeling off after only 6 months. Unfortunately when I called they said that 6 months is the limit to exchange because of manufacturing issues like this. It was the first pair Shoes for Crews that I purchased so I was looking forward to something more durable than "regular" shoes.
