Sonic Carhop
I work as a Carhop/Crew Lead at sonic, and I've had a pair in leather for well over a year. I have worn my pair into literal rags, completely busted seams and the sole is falling off. However, the sole itself on the bottom is completely intact and has never held onto dirt too badly. They're easy to clean, hold up well to getting wet from drinks and stuff spilling, and they're pretty comfortable after you've broken them in. I would reccomened that you use inserts to help the flat-sole problem but I have naturally flat feet and they don't really bother me. My ankles turn in, so I can't wear anything low-top for work and these have been sturdy enough to keep my ankles supported like a brace! I'm very impressed and I think for the price they last longer than I expected them too.
Drawbacks:
Flat soles so you need to buy an insert unless you are comfortable being flat-footed.
Harsh/stiff material is a bit difficult to break in at first, and will absolutely rub off your skin if you don't have tall socks.
Bottom of soles will trap things in them and they need to be cleaned out to prevent damage.
Not waterproof- although they are pretty resistant to water being spilled on them they can flood if you're standing in a puddle or something while walking around at work.
Pros:
Provide excellent support to the ankles due to how tight you can lace them.
Last for a very very long time, making them relatively inexpensive.
Easy to clean, especially because they come with a small took specifically made to go into the grooves of the sole.
Look very professional, I've gotten a lot of compliments from my managers on them lol.
If you wear converse or vans a lot, these are just professional converse and they're really comfortable after you've broken them in a bit.
Fast laces- hard to explain well but it's so easy to tie these, lace them, or switch laces so putting them on for work takes zero time or effort at all.
Look good with colorful laces- a lot of work shoes are very bland looking and ugly, but these look really nice and you can change the laces to suit your job/personality. As a server, having colorful laces that match my hair and stuff always nets me more tips!
General thoughts? I 100% reccomend these for anyone who likes converse/vans and anyone in need of ankle support. I really think that the quality of them and how well they hold up (I walk in these an average of 7 miles a day, 5 days a week and it took over a year for them to stop being comfortable for work) makes the price absolutely worth it.

Great ankle support!
I have worn this pair of shoes for six months now, 40 hours per week, and I still love them. I’ve had bad ankle injuries and the high top keeps my ankles feeling secured. I also enjoy that they aren’t bulky at all. It’s a sleek sneaker and it’s easy to clean the leather. I ordered my normal size and they fit perfect.

Great shoes,bought a pair in 2005
I bought a pair back in 2005 and still have them. They’re great. Just change the insoles from time to time. They’re still like I bought them yesterday.

They work
To begin, I want to clarify that I'm writing a review for the canvas version of the shoes.
These were my very first purchase from Shoes For Crews and I am very glad that I made the investment. I bought these over 6 months ago and they are still holding up well, as compared to Walmart brand shoes that I would normally buy that liked to separate from the sole after two months.
Admittedly, I bought these only for their look, but I am glad that they are also pretty comfortable to stand in a kitchen for 11 hours in. I should add that my "comfortable" is that I don't think about them being on my feet while at work, which is good enough for me.
My only complaint is that the sole has started to slightly separate on the toe crease of both shoes, but this could be due to the fact that I like to wash them once a week to actually keep them black (Yes, I air dry them)

Cute and comfortable
I love these shoes! I’m a huge converse fan so I love the style. I wear them daily for work and haven’t faced any problems yet! They were a little uncomfortable at first, but they’re fine now. I would recommend getting insoles if you think you need more support. Overall a good shoe, and I will buy a new pair once these wear down!
