Rated 4 out of 5 by from So close! I've been wearing these for about a month and a half, and they are very comfortable, cute, and the style I need for my serving job at one of the busiest areas in the country. My uniform is dressy, yet I need comfort and something that ties for the amount of walking I do, about 5 miles a shift. I've never had a shoe that didn't require some sort of insole, so I was very impressed at how comfortable these are, but unfortunately, the material has already started peeling at the seams and in the crease across my toes from where my foot bends while walking. This is a great shoe if you don't walk very much in your job. I wish these were made out of real leather, or something more durable!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I ordered a 6 1/2 wide and they felt snug, but after a three weeks they've broken in and stretched out a bit. Still feel like next time I should go a half size up as well. The snugness has affected the comfort level of the shoes as well. Unfortunately after 2 weeks of wear the pleather coating started rubbing off on some of the inner sides of the shoe. I'm a hostess so I'm not exactly doing any crazy footwork. I'm thinking of sending these back because the outer material doesn't seem to hold up well at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I will most likely order another pair of these shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box. The are simply styled, which suits me. The only reason I did not rate them a 5 overall is that they do not have complete arch support, but I can add to that. I have extremely high arches so it is rare to find a shoe that can accommodate that. I also would have loved it if the heel was about 1/4" higher. Then they would have been a "five star" for me. Otherwise, I really do recommend them for comfort, value, slip-resistance, look, and quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really disappointed I've been wearing Shoes for Crews for 10+ years. I've worn many styles and have recommended them over and over. Not any more. The latest version of the Madison shoe is not made as well as any of my previous shoes. I can get over the fact that it is not true to size (quite narrow), but the construction of the foot bed feels like you are walking on cardboard. They look nice but it feels like the soles are made of cheap materials. The first 5 nights wearing them made my legs and body feel worse than my 2-year old pair of broken down Madisons. I bought some insoles, but it only helped slightly. I didn't even feel as confident with the slip resistance. I bought a competitor's work shoes and will be donating my brand new pair of Madisons to a local thrift store. What a waste of money. Shoes for Crews has lost a long time customer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very, very narrow. I read the reviews, looked at my large but narrow feet and decided to risk it. At first they were fine, but after two hours they hurt like heck, and unfortunately I chose to test them on a 12hr shift, by the end of which I legitimately could not walk. Normally I wear a 9.5, so I ordered a 10 and felt like I needed an 11. Stylewise, these are great, they looked killer with skinnies and skirts and worked for both the casual lunch shift and formal dinner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfy These run a bit small. I highly recommend getting a half size bigger than you think. I’m very much a 9 med but i had to get a 91/2 wide. I’m a server in a not so casual restaurant and these shoes are great. I was worried the heal would be too much but it really isnt at all. I havent slipped walking through the kitchen and my back hasnt been aching anymore. I was wearing really awful shoes before these life savers. I injured my foot last year and have been in great pain but these shoes make my pain almost nonexistent. Will definitely be returning for more!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TERRIBLE These are easily the least comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Standing on my feet in these feels like I've been running around in stilettos. No arch support, no real padding, and not a very good non slip either. From the other reviews, it seems like this used to be a good product and they recently changed it out to make it cheaper. What a shame, because the shoe itself was cute. I've tried insoles and they didn't help. These shoes have made my feet flatter and I wish I could get a refund because my feet literally throb after wearing them. DO NOT BUY.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I bought these after reading reviews about how great they are bwing on your feet for hours at end. I can tell you if hours on end to you is 5 hours, okay. I work 10 hour days most days, if not longer and for this type of work day, no, they do not stay comfortable hours on end. They are okay. Plus side they do look great with business casual dress code.
