Decent but a little disappointed
I bought these as an “upgrade” to the last shoes for crews I bought, and they are OK. They fit but; as modern “running” shoes I suppose I expected a Hoka or Nike type result, with a big cushy bottom. Whenever I put on my HOKA or Nikes I am lifted over an inch from the ground on what feels like clouds; I expected that here, but end up with just a general slightly flat feeling Shoes For Crews shoe that gives me about a half inch lift. I wish you guys would just bite the bullet and put out a real quality $200 beefy shoe, instead of these “almost there” releases. I would buy that every day of the week.
Could be for most of us but I only really shoes for crews for the non slip element. If not for that I would of course wear my Hoka or Sketchers. Because these shoes are just not exactly comfortable - they are tolerable. Everyone who buys SFC works hard on their feet 50 hours a week. We need a real serious product.
For the price, I’m not sure. It leaves more to be desired. I got this over the New Balance Keisha whatever’s because those have such bad reviews. But I’m not sure this one deserves better treatment.
