To help find the impossible work/life balance ever present in the food service industry, I’ve always believed in making lists. When I put things down on paper and create a simple prep list, I'm more inclined to stick to the list and get to my end point in order to call it a day. When I’m able to visualize realistic and doable goals for each day; as a Chef, I don’t hesitate in calling it a day to get home to my family when my list is complete.
FAVORITE SFC STYLE:
Currently I’m loving the Juniper slip resistant “athleisure” by Lila. It provides comfort, safety, and style all in one. As a female executive chef, finding chef attire that fits properly and is functional is rare; so when I find something I love that I have to wear as my uniform, it’s a gem! And when I am on my feet for 12/14 hours per day, I especially love how lightweight this shoe is.
